Despite my addiction to content, sometimes I don't post for awhile either because I want to get something right, even if it takes a couple of days, or due to a conspiracy of circumstance (read: drinking).
Tonight, it's a combination of the two. I'm trying to write about Brick, but it's proving to be an elusive subject. On top of that I went out and had a few Red Stripes with three new and attractive platonic female friends (which, by the way, made me feel like the biggest pimp ever.) Then I'm heading out of town tomorrow for a special occasion.
Johnny's solution to not posting is to make a point of not apologizing. Mine is to list the titles of the posts I have in progress.

Hey Richard! Man, gotta say you've got an extensive collection of the oddest, most random websites on your blogs. Where do you find them all?? No need to go to Google anymore. I'll just ribble my way to them. There, you're now a verb. Congratulations! (You'd be a bad friend if you don't remember who that screenname belongs to. Either that or just a friend with a bad memory <--note, this is an excuse, all provided for you. :-)
I had you pegged from the first, Sunkist. What a wonderfully rambling message! Also, way to oust my first name (it was past time for me to put that up anyway.)
I refer to a lot of movies and T.V. shows, and all those links are to Wikipedia or IMDB.
However, it sounds like you've been going through the latest in the Where I've Been series (that's a link to the first one, if you want to make a study of 'em). Speedrail was the first to point out that it's actually a pretty tame collection of links (I believe his exact words were "come on, Snake Eyes, where's the porn?!")
Most of those links are to webcomics that I've been reading for years. (Did you like Freefall? I feel like you would like Freefall. You can read the archives starting here.)
The other stuff I come across during my normal "work" day. I don't pick and choose for those links, partly because there are already plenty of good "lookit what I founds" blogs already, and mostly because I'm too lazy.
Links are why blogging is the closest I've come to being able to write like I think - but that's a whole other post.
